Fourth and fifth grade Wakefield ' Students travelled to Old Bedford Village in Bedford, Pennsylvania last weekend to take part in the Great Pumpkin Festival. The trip offered the students a chance to tour an authentic working pioneer village, and they saw in the forty shops and buildings numerous exhibits and craftsmen working at their trades.
Thursday, November 1, the sixth and seventh grades will travel to New York City. Activities on Thursday will include a ride on the famed Staten Island Ferry, a visit to St. Patrick’s Cathedral, (tinner in the theatre district followed by the Broadway show, “Tap Dance Kid.”
