Lake Chesdin has good crappie and hybrid striper action. Calvin Hunter and Roger Mayberry caught more than 130 crappie on minnows while Gus Sphor caught 12 hybrid stripers of more than three pounds each. Tom Hagen of Fiahtracker magazine fished Lake Chesdin this week and caught 87 crappie up to a lVi pounds.
Buggs Island produced a threepound, five-ounce crappie and a number of citation size stripers — up to a 24-pounder.
