Mrs. Woodward was a native of Rappahannock County and had lived in Amissville all her life. She was a member of Amissville Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Rudolph Woodward of Bealeton and Douglas Woodward of Bowie, M(L; two sisters. Ora Priest of Landover, Md. and Mrs. Emma Priest of Culpeper; a brother, Edward Estes of Estes; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at Amissville Baptist Church on Thursday by the Rev. Joseph Stirman. Burial was in the Amissville Baptist Church cemetery.
Pallbearers were Thomas Woodward, Everette Estes, Rudy Woodward, Robert Woodward, Stephen Woodward, Mark Woodward, Elmer James and James Ibbitson.
Clore Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
