Smith Mountain Lake fishing is excellent! James Weaver of West Virginia has six citation fish this month from Smith Mountain. Other reports include 20-30 pound stripers, 20-21 pound muskies and eight-to-9V2-pound largemouth.
The Shenandoah River is slow, but improving. Largemouth are reported up to three pounds, and crappie are picking up.
