Placing second in the shot put was senior Matthew Frye with 39’1/2”. Senior third placers were: Ricky Shaw, high jump with 5’4” and the 400 with a time of 1:00.1; Jim Lilly, discus with 102’6” and Jimmy Freeman, long jump with 17’2”.

The juniors were represented by Jeff Fudd who placed second in the 200 with a time of 26.8 and third in the triple jump with 35T1”. David Fischbein, a sophomore, placed first in the pole vault with 10’.

Sophomores placing second were: Garri Jackson, 100 dash with a time of 12.5; Jonathan Watson, the mile with a time of 5:24.3 and the two mile with a time of 11:55.4 and John Dodson, the 800 with a time of 2:28. Sophomore third placers were Terri Jordan, the 100 dash with a time of 12.9 and Neil Burke, the 800 with a time of 2:34.

The 400 relay team of Dexter Freeman, Jeff Fudd, Terry Jordan and Garri Jackson also placed first with a time of 50.2.
