If a lily was very difficult to grow, what would you be willing to pay for just one plant? It's snowy white flowers are often one of the first signs of spring. And that makes one wonder about the price of gold if it were plentiful.
Must a thing be rare to be valuable? Must it be something we can’t afford before w'e want it? If we had a roomful of gold, wouldn't it be just as lovely as if we had only one gold ring ? Wouldn't it/be as malleable and ductile to make beautiful jewelry or ornaments or to use for trade?
Maybe we feel the same way about church. It is there and we can go anytime, but we don't. Yet it is in church that we can learn the true value of other people and learn about ourselves.
