The museum’s history can be traced back to scrapbooks. Miss Jenkins’ life-long love of finding and saving interesting bits of information found expression in scrapbooks. Her books, now kept in the museum, date back to when she was in the first grade.
Miss Jenkins was born and raised in Washington, and most of the museum’s pieces belonged to her or her family. "The whole family always loved to get and save old things," Miss Jenkins said. In fact, the museum was
