Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a rose colored tea length dress, overlayed in lace with pearl buttons. Her accessories were, pearls.

She carried a bouquet of pink roses interspersed with daisies, lily of valley and baby’s breath.

Gail Williams of Chester Gap, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. She wore a street length dress of pink chiffon and carried a pink and white bouquet of roses and baby’s breath.

Fred Soutter of Culpeper served as best man.

Immediately following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride’s grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Wines at Chester Gap.

Following a wedding trip to Florida, Mr. and Mrs. Brown are residing at Chester Gap.
