Campus Visits
On Friday, April 26, 25 juniors from RCHS traveled to the campus of Germanna Community College in Locust Grove, Virginia. Upon their arrival and greeting by a counselor, they attended a seminar on the curricular available.
The next stop was at Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg. There, they attended a seminar on the curricular available and the students were told what questions to ask of colleges in their college search. They were then taken on a walking tour of the campus by an admissions counselor, and were told of the availabilities of housing, majors and other numerous items.
After the tour, they were invited to lunch in the college dining room. This was an experience for all and the food was a welcome treat.
