Friday my class visited Mount Vernon. Mount Vernon was the home of George Washington. George Washington was first president. We learned many different things about him. We saw the room in which he died in.
We also saw the Potomac River which is on the East FronJ|of his home. The library was beautiful! This is where the President did nost of his studying. On the West Front there’s a large Courtyard. In jne room called the West Parlor, :here was a beautiful set up for a ;ea or coffee party. In one part of :he house there was a music room, it had a double key piano.
We also saw a shiny, black carnage that belonged to the Presilent. There were two gardens, one vas fruit to be used in the kitchen md the other was a beautiful lower garden. We also visited a jlace called Washington’s tomb, rhis is where our president is now •esting.
