Their son, Neal and his wife, Judy, were also with them. The Fridenstine’8 grandson, David, who is a Junior there, received the Air Force Award for “Outstanding Student.” This honor usually goes to a Senior and is awarded to a student who has completed the aerospace course in the ROTC program with the highest grades in military skills. Congratulations David!!!
Lynn, the Fridenstine’s granddaughter, was inducted into the Junior Honor Society, at R.M.A. and was honored as Priricess of the freshman class at the May dance this year. She wore a lovely, white, bowed neck, long gown with bouffant skirt and pearls as her accessory. Congratulations on your honors, Lynn Fridenstine!!
Waverly and Lillian Frazier spent Mother’s Day having a picnic lunch with their families from Culpeper. They were daughter, Ellen Wharton, daughter, Kate and her husband, Mark Tharpe, and their two children, Shannon and Tonya, who really had a great time swinging in the backyard and playing ball.
Later that evening, Lillian visited' her mother in Rixeyville, Mrs. Gerit Printz, where they had a good visit.
Howard and Helen Holschuh drove to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to spend some time with their daughter and her family, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Parry, Jason and Lorien. The Parrys have a large, wholesale/retail greenhouse, and this was the busy season. The Holschuhs loved helping them with the children.
From Pittsburgh, the Holschuhs flew to Madison, Wisconsin, for Helen’s nephews’s wedding, Captain
