Fauquier theatre
presents ‘Cabaret’
The Fauquier Community Theatre will present Cabaret, the musical adaption of John van Druten’s provocative play / am a Camera.
Performance dates are May 24, 25, 26, 31 and June 1, 2, 6, 7 and 8 at 8 p.m.
The production will be held at The Loft, North Third Street, Warrenton.
Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for senior citizens and children. Groups rates are also available. For ticket information, call 788-4256.
Whitewater canoe
race held June 1-2,
The sixth annual Rappahannock Whitewater Canoe Race will be held June 1-2 near Fredericksburg.
The five-mile course starts at Motts Landing, ending at Old Mill Park. There are 25 different racing classes, ranging from single open canoe to combination team classes. All classes are subdivided into levels of junior and senior competition. There also will be competition for kayaks and Cls.
