Manlyn Mane Wharton, daughter of John W. Wharton of Culpeper and Viola M. Wharton of Rochelle, became the bride of Robert Lee Hamilton, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Hamilton of Amissville, on Saturday, April 20.

The double ring ceremony was performed at 2 o’clock at the Rochelle United Methodist Church by Rev. Henry D. Aylor. Mrs. Barbara Byers of Ruckersville played the wedding music and sang The Lord’s Prayer and Wedding Prayer.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a formal gown,of white chiffon accented with imported Chantilly lace and pearls, with a demi-cathedral train. Her fingertip veil fell from a ■coronet of pearls, white petals and Chantilly lace. She carried a bouquet of pink sweetheart roses, white lilac, pink minicamations, white daisies and baby’s breath.

Mrs. Shelby Kirby of Orange was matron of honor for her sister, wearing a long gown of rose chiffon with matching hat. She carried pink and white carnations and baby’s breath.
