In answer to your editorial letter regarding the loss of your dog, you only answered your side of the story .
1. Your dog was running loose.
2. There was no license on the dog at the time it was shot.
3. The fowl was raised from a baby to a full grown fowl and was admired by all.
4. The hen to the killed fowl was sitting on eggs and does not realize yet what has happened. The loss of her mate, once the hen realizes it, will be something else.
5. You speak about not having feelings. What about our feelings in losing our fowl?
6. Yes, the dog was shot and I have the right to protect my animals as any farmer in any of the other counties does.
