As to the above statements, it is not by any means my desire to go around shooting dogs. I have raised stray dogs which have come to my home and also cats. So I do love animals. It is regrettable that the „nimal had to be destroyed, but it is in my interest and also yours to realize that once an animal gets the taste of blood, he will be back again looking for more.
Your deep concern for your pet should have been realized before the damage had been done by fencing in or chaining the dog so that he could not do damage. And by obeying county laws and having your dog tagged.
If it happens again, I will do exactly the same thing and in the same way. It is not quick temperedness. It is common sense.
