The weather was “perfect” for the estimated 4,500 to 5,000 people who attended the first of what will certainly be an annual event for Sperryville, "The Gateway to the Park.” That upbeat slogan on the Sperryville Business Council’s new brochure echoes the resurgence of spirit which seemed to mark all the festivities last Saturday and Sunday.
