During the lifetime of the parents, PLAN representatives provide personal counseling, direction and planning which ultimately result in providing for the disabled individual after the parents are no longer alive or able to do so themselves. In addition to developing this “Personal Care Plan,” the parents also learn how to identify and create a means of financial support to defray costs associated with the Personal Care Plan.
