The Rappahannock County Garden Club, meeting May 21 at the home of Mrs. James White in Flint Hill, heard a talk on wildlife by James Bankston, area game warden.

Mr. Bankston presented a film on Virginia wildlife and explained the intricacies of balancing animal population and available habitat. He led a members’ discussion of the situation in Rappahannock County. '

An exhibit of arrangements and specimen iris by members was juried by visiting judge Judy Ann Fray of Madison. Results were:

Arrangements on the theme A Walk in the Woods: Blue ribbon, Sally Sharp; red, Helen Platt; yellow, Dorothy Mank.

Horticulture ribbons for iris were awarded as follows:
