“I know a lot of the scientists by studying about them last year in class,” Henry said. “I think Mr. Patterson really did a good job of preparing us. This was more meaningful to me since I already knew something about the scientists.”
“In the afternoon we did a theory on half life of indium. We counted the number of isotypes from radiation during five consecutive five minute periods. When it finished generating radiation we drew a graph and figured out the half life of it,” explained Henry.
“I think attending helped to widen my background. It helped to put all the scientists that we studied together. Instead of talking about them separately we studied them as a group with a common idea,” Henry concluded.
