NURSE (PUBLIC HEALTH) The Va. Dept, of Health is recruiting for a Public Health Nurse for the Rappahannock-Rapidan Health District. Plans and delivers nursing/ health care and appropriate teaching to patients seen in health dept, clinics, in area schools and assigned to caseload, so that optimal level of health will be attained. Appraises health needs of patient, family and/or community resources. Other duties as assigned. Must be Va. licensed RN (or elig); have knowledge as a health educator; ability to interview and counsel clients, families and communities on health issues; ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Prefer BSN with public health component and/or public health nursing experience. Must provide own transportation. Salary $17,512 - $23,934. Closing date 06/06/86.
