“There’s not a kennel in Rappahannock that meets the state’s requirements,” repeated Commissioner Fannon. In addition, no kennel owner would agree to expose valuable dogs to the parasites and disease that strays carry, added Commissioner Miller.
“When J. Newbill Miller is in complete disagreement with Konick and Fletcher on the same issue, maybe he ought to rethink his position, because maybe he’s wrong!” interjected Mr. Konick.
Addressing the traffic issue, Commissioner Fannon asked the dog warden for the number of visitors who come by the shelter he now maintains on his farm outside the town of Washington.
