Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Campbell attended a party in Front Royal Sunday afternoon for their greatgranddaughter Jennifer Cameron’s third birthday. Jennifer is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Cameron. The party was hosted by her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Lillard and was attended by approximately 50 relatives and friends.
The Leonard Campbells’ son-inlaw and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Bailey and daughter Kirsten of Manassas called on them Sunday evening callers.
Visiting Mrs. Sarah Brown and daughters Amanda and Bobbie Jo Thursday were Mrs. Janet Smoot and daughter Naomi of Amissville, Mrs. Christine Sims and daughter Emily of Sperryville, Mrs. Ann Brown of Woodville and her mother Mrs. Corbett of England, who is spending several months here withher daughter and family.
Good luck to George and Christine Sims and daughter Emily who recently moved into their new home near Sperryville. The Sims family formerly lived on Mt. Salem Avenue in town.

OnSunday, May 25 at Graves Chapel Episcopal Church, Graves Mills, the Dawson Tapfier Scholarship awards were presented to three deserving young people, who will attend music camp at Shrinemont. The scholarship was established in recognition of Dawson Tanner’s dedication to the church. Mr. Tanner was a brother of Mrs. T. M. Johnston of Sperryville.

Mrs. Gladys Jenkins of Etlan was honored on her birthday May 25 at a surprise dinner at the home of her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Donnie Dodson at Nethers Mill.
Guests were Kay Dodson and Lisa Taylor of Nethers, Earl and Jim Jenkins of Etlan, Dorothy Jenkins, Sharon and Junior of Woodville, Mr. and Mrs. Freddie Leake, Janie and Jonathan of Aroda, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Weakley, Tracey and Ashley of Falls Church, Mr. and Mrs. Jake Dodson of Madison, Mrs. Betty Taylor and A1 Wolfred, both of Culpeper.
Mrs. Jenkins ended the evening by attending the service at the Nethers Mills Lighthouse Tabernacle.
