“Mrs. Lilo Foster did a lot of t he choreography. Sometimes the kids interjected their ideas. Lilo has been a big help with all the dances." Mrs. Bomberger said.
Fifth through seventh graders began rehearsing for the show in February. The core of the play was a school chorus which practiced once a week during the school year.
The five main characters were played by Douglas Kilpatrick, Heidi Maeyer, Holly Moffett, Justin Ferrence and Christopher Sutton.
Douglas was the computer boy. He led the group of students to the information station which helped them realize that finding information was not so hard after all. Academics were proven to be easy — you just have to know where to go to look. In the beginning the students thought he was a klutz but by the end they liked him because he helped them and they appreciated it.
Heidi was a naive student who frequently used the phrases, “for sure” and “totally.”
Holly was an intelligent girl who helped keep the group together.
Justin and Chris were average school kids waiting at a bus stop.
