Brownie Troop 929, made up mostly of third-grade girls, also had a trip to Washington, D.C. They visited the National Children’s Museum and had a wonderful time there trying various hands-on activities. They also saw Cinderella performed by a children’s theater group in Alexandria.
The Junior Troop took part in the Junior Review Show in Charlottesville, an event for Juniors in Association III which stretches from Rappahannock to Nelson County. There they sang songs, watched skits, and made puppets and neckerchiefs.
The Cadettes went horseback riding and helped add a Halloween Fun Fair to the first SPTA sock hop. With the Seniors they went skiing and joined other older girls in Association III for a lock-in in Culpeper. They also helped put on a campout for Rappahannock Brownies in the fall and the Brownie Bee-In for
