Marine Chief Warrant Officer James Prudhum, son of James and Margaret Prudhum of Castleton, has been promoted to his present rank while serving with the 3rd Force Service Support Group on Okinawa.
A 1971 graduate of Woodbridge Senior High School, he joined the Marine Corps in December 1971.
