Flora Walters
Flora Pearl Walters, 69, of Stephens City, died May 21 at Winchester Medical Center.
Mrs. Walters was born October 20, 1916, in Rappahannock County, daughter of the late John W. and Martha Jane Riley Smoot, and was married to Sutton Brown Walters, who predeceased her. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Surviving are a nephew William F. Smoot and a niece Josie Smoot, both of Stephens City, a step-son Woodrow Walters of Strasburg, a sister-in-law Goldie A. Smoot of Flint Hill, eight step-grandchildren and four step-great grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at the Jones Funeral Home, Winchester, by Ken Smith. Burial was in Orlean Cemetery near Flint Hill.

Kenneth Lee Haag, 70, of Front Royal, died May 22 in a hospital at Leesburg, Fla.
Mr. Haag was born April 9, 1916, in Plymouth, Ind., son of the late Henry N. and Edna Stuntz Haag.
