‘Take care of your park7
To the editor:
In this county we are blessed with a very fine park area. It has tennis courts, basketball and other such facilities, a children’s play area (tot lot), as well as good walking paths and picnic tables by the river in beautiful surroundings.
The park, however, has bottles and trash strewn around everywhere in spite of garbage containers liberally supplied. We have seen at least four broken bottles lying not 20 feet from these garbage receptacles.
Perhaps the county would consider erecting some “Take Care of Your Park” type notices around, and the public park users might begin taking more care.
