Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Brown attended a family reunion on Saturday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Palmer in Culpeper. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Brown, Mrs. Louise Alther and daughter Becky went to Charlottesville to visit their cousin who is a patient in University Hospital.
Mrs. Vallie Butler and Norma Holt were guests Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Beard. Mr. and Mrs. George C. Hawkins of Sperryville joined them later for a cookout.
Mrs. James Sykes visited her mother Mrs. Opie Crawford on Memorial Day.
Raymond Johnson has returned home after visiting his brother C. B. Johnson in Lakeland, Fla.
Mr. and Mrs. Rick Johnson and daughter Julie spent the weekend in Edinburg with Mr. and Mrs. Austin Coffelt and on Sunday attended the James Lee Carper family reunion.
Dr. and Mrs. John O’Bannon and children Jack, Ginny and Andy of Richmond spent Saturday night and Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Maurice O’Bannon. Bobby O’Bannon and son Jason visited the O’Bannons Monday.
