Homecoming at Gid Brown Homecoming services will be held at Gid Brown Bible Church near Washington on Sunday, June 1, beginning at 10 a.m. Pastor Bob McClure, formerly of Timberville, and now a missionary in Mexico, will preach at the morning service. Lunch will be served. The afternoon service will begin at 2 p.m. and the Rev. Jerry Young, pastor of Rivermont Baptist Church in Front Royal, will be preaching. Special singing will be featured throughout the day, a nursery will be provided and transportation can be arranged by calling 675-3662. Pastor John Burke and the congregation extend a cordial invitation to all to attend.
