Musical concert
The Hoppers, The Easter Brothers and The Singing Americans will present a musical concert on Friday, August 29 at 7 p.m. at the Fauquier High School. Courses offered at CCLC
Lord Fairfax Community College will be offering three evening courses this fall at The Child Care and Learning Center in Washington. The courses are Introduction to Interior Decorating, which meets on Tuesdays from 6:30-9:30 p.m.; Introductory Spanish, which meets on Tuesdays from 6:30-9:30 p.m.; and Homesteading, which meets on Mondays from 6:30-9:30 p.m.

Slate Fair trip planned
Are you looking for excitement and a fun-filled day? Join the Extension Homemakers on a bus trip to the State Fair Friday, September 19. The bus cost is $10.00. Advance fair tickets can be purchased if reservations are made before September 5th for only $5.95. Tickets at the gate are $7.95. Senior citizens’ (60 +) tickets are $4.95.
