Meals offered
for elderly
The Virginia Department for the Aging makes meals available at home to anyone who is over 60 years old and is unable to prepare his or her own food.
The Department contracts with a number of local agencies, including Meals on Wheels, to provide this service.
If you believe that you could benefit from homebound meals, or know someone who could, you may contact the local office of the Department for the Aging.
