While a physical education instructor at Hurley, N. C., Elementary School, Mr. Fair was in charge of motor skills testing. Later he wattle director of physical fitness test ing and gymnastics instructor at the North Rowan Middle School. While doing graduate work at Chapel Hill, he held a teaching assistantship in , physical education for undergraduates. Most recently Mr. Fair has been the general manager of the Physical Fitness Center in Raleigh, N. C.
Headmaster William Lynn said that he has instructed the new phys*. ical education director to design an intensive physical fitness program, for Wakefield students from kinder-', garten through grade 12. In addition, Mr. Fair will coach the junior varsity soccer team and the varsitybasketball team.
Mr. Fair is a native of New Jersey. He will live in Manassas, where' his wife is employed by IBM.
