In a joint enort trom governmental agencies, Mike Massie of Hampton Stock Farms was provided financial and technical assistance with his watering supply system.
A complete survey, layout and design was provided by the Soil Conservation Service (SCS). Technical assistance while installing the system was available from the Culpeper Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) as well as the SCS. Financial assistance was granted through the cost share programs of the Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service (ASCS) and the Chesapeake Bay Program under the SWCD.
