Phys Ed director
Wakefield School has announced the appointment of Richard W. Fair as Physical Education Director for the upcoming school year.
Mr. Fair received his master’s degree in physical education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1984. His master’s thesis was on sports instruction and administration in secondary education.
Previously Mr. Fair had earned his BA in health and physical education at Catawba College, Salisbury, N. C., where he was named the top graduating senior male in physical education and was listed in Who’s Who Among American College and University Students. At Catawba he was a three-year varsity baseball and basketball player.
