Mrs. T. M. Johnston was a dinner guest Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Meade and children, Bethany and Broocks in Charlottesville.
Last week Mr. and Mrs. Jack Brown were in Blacksburg and were also guests for several days of Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown, Jr. in Tazewell when they were joined by Dr. and Mrs. James Thornton of Gate City.
Mr. and Mrs. Howard Cannon with Mr. and Mrs. Mason Cannon and daughter, Joye of Chesapeake were guests last week of Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Pillar.
Charlotee “Charlie” Hisle of Baltimore, Md. visited friends here Sunday.
Beth Brigg of Franklin is living in the W. H. Lyne apartment. She is an English teacher at Rappahannock County High School.
