In announcing the meeting to form a Community Task Force, Mr. Nettles quoted President Reagan’s recent remarks about drug abuse: “No one is safe from drugs,” the President said, “Not you, not me, and certainly not our children, because this epidemic has their name written on it.” Mr. Nettles added that, “Without doubt this epidemic is a part of life even here in Rappahannock County, and we need your help to wage our local battle in the war on drugs.”
