blue; there are pieces that are braids of hair and rope, hanging from the ceiling, some dyed, some their natural color. Janet uses parts of nature to create designs that are both ancient and modem - and that have a sense of humor (look for her “Appalachian Rubber Snake Cult Basket”).
I could go on and on, but I will end by encouraging you to see for yourself the delightful, inspirational work now showing at the Middle Street Gallery before it leaves at the end of the month. This show is one of those fleeting flashes of beauty in our lives, so don’t miss it!
