Rappahannock County High School and Rappahannock County Elementary School personnel helped in the celebration of excellence in education in the county by participating in many activities during American Education Week, Nov. 1721.
Nov. 17 was an in-service day for teachers. Everyone was asked to bring a covered dish for a luncheon held at the elementary school.
The Rappahannock County Education Association provided a deli tray of meats and cheeses and iced tea.
Administration Appreciation Day was observed Nov. 18. The association provided coffee and doughnuts to the administrators at the high school, elementary school and School Board offices.
Bus drivers, aides, cafeteria workers and secretaries were given coffee and dbughnuts as the buses arrived Wednesday morning.
Student Appreciation Day was Nov. 20. Students were given a pencil as a special gift for the day. Each employee showed special appreciation to the students. Teachers baked
