Gospel program at Gay St. Theatre
A gospel program will be presented Friday, Oct. 16, at 8 p.m. at the Gay Street Theater in Washington. Featured groups include David Clanagan & Free Spirit, The Melody Makers, The Branches, Country Gospel Singers and Glory Road Singers. Admission is free.
Anniversary celebration
The members of the Macedonia Baptist Church in Flint Hill will observe their pastor’s 16th anniversary Sunday, Oct. 18, at 3 p.m. The Rev. Lloyd 0. Robert, choir and congregation of the Ebenzer Baptist Church of Alexandria will be the guests. Lunch will be served following the morning service. All are invited.
Valley Four at Hope Hill
The Valley Four of Harrisonburg will be in concert on Saturday, Oct. 24, at 7:30 p.m. at Hope Hill Baptist Church. Rev. Milton Switzer Sr. is pastor. This is a combined invitation of all the area churches supporting the Valley Four. The public is invited.
