Franklin Brown
Franklin Delano Brown, 51, of Sperryville, died Oct. 7 at Kings Daughters Hospital in Staunton after a sudden heart attack.
Mr. Brown was bom Dec. 24, 1935, in Washington, D.C., the son of Susie H. Brown of Sperryville and the late Richard Davis Brown. He was a native of Rappahannock and had lived in Sperryville all his life. He was employed by thf Virginia Department of Transportation at Washington, Va.
Surviving with his mother are three brothers, John D. Brown of Luray, Richard A. Brown of Sperryville and Thomas E. Brown of Boston, and a niece Jennifer L. Brown of Luray.
Funeral services were conducted Oct. 10 at the Sperryville United Methodist Church by Rev. Merlin Shorb and Rev. Charles Clinedinst. Interment was at the Sperryville Cemetery.
Danielle Sheetz
A funeral service for Danielle Lea Sheetz, who died in a fire Oct. 9 at her home in Amissville, was conducted Oct. 13 at St. James Episcopal Church by the Rev. Prentice Kinser III.
Interment was at Hillcrest Memory Gardens, Jeffersonton.
Miss Sheetz, who was 11 years old, is survived by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Sheetz, a brother John Sheetz, her paternal grandparents Palmer and Alice Sheetz of West Virginia and her maternal grandmother Anne Kirby of South Carolina.
