James Aylor
James E. (Sud) Aylor, of Washington, D.C., and Sperryville, died Oct. 12 in Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton.
He was the son of Lottie M. Aylor.
Besides his mother he is survived by two brothers, William Aylor and Russell Aylor, and two sisters, Ruth Eleanor Banks and Charlotte Aylor.
The family will receive friends at the Hopewell Baptist Church, Sperryville, on Thursday, Oct. 15, from 7 to 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted Oct. 16 at 1 p.m. at the Hopewell Baptist Church. Interment will be at the church cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled \ by W. C. Thompson Funeral Home, Culpeper.
Senior discount
cards available
RSVP volunteers will be making senior discount identification cards at Ben Franklin Store in Warrenton on Thursday, Oct. 22 from 10 a.m until 2 p.m.
The senior discount program, a service of the Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services center, is designed to help residents of the planning district stretch their purchasing power.
More than 100 merchants in Orange, Maedison, Culpeper, Rappahannock and Fauquier counties recognize these cards, as do many others throughout Virginia.
Any resident over 60 is eligible for the program. A contribution of $2 per card is requested to help cover costs. For more information, call 672-1717 or 825-4242. -
