Since the proposed site is near the borders of Culpeper and Fauquier counties and the Rappahannock River, let's be a little kinder to our neighbors and locate a more suitable, centrally located site to better serve the entire county of Rappahannock.
Now that the board has already signed a contract to purchase the property, I suggest we negotiate with Culpeper and Fauquier counties to use the site as a tri-county park with facilities similar to the Bull Run Park at Centreville.
