The second annual institute for Women’s Issues, cosponsored by the University of Virginia and Virginia Commonwealth University, will hold its Fall Seminar on Friday Oct. 30, at the Richmond Mariott Hotel, , , $00 East Broad St., Richmond from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.1 The theme is** “Power: Positive Strategies for Tak- fi ing Charge.”
Keynote speaker Linda Koch Lorimer, President, Randolph-Macon Women’s College is the youngest president of any four-year college in America. Presenters include Jean Wooden Cunningham, Delegate, Virginia General Assembly, Labor and Personnel Attorney, Reynolds Metals Company; Virginia Ritchie, Executive Director, Leadership Metro Richmond and Carmen F. Foster, Vice President, Public Affairs, Metro Richmond Chamber of Commerce.
Topics to be discussed include “Proactive Managers Negotiate,” “Integrated Approach to Management” and “Visibility is Power.” Seminar participants will be awarded continuing education credits.
