Dickinson to talk
at breakfast
Delegate V. Earl Dickinson of Mineral will address the monthly meeting of the Legislative District Breakfast at the Holiday Inn in Culpeper at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24.
Del. Dickinson is a 16-year member of the House of Delegates representing the 56th District, which includes Louisa, Fluvana, Powhatan and Goochland Counties. He ranks third on the House Appropriations Committee and is vice chairman of the Roads and Internal Navigation and Privileges and Elections committees. Del. Dickinson, who is running unopposed in this year’s election, ranks 13th in seniority in the House of Delegates.
He has been a lifetime resident of Louisa County. He has spent more than 26 years as an elected official, 10 of which were on the Louisa County Board of Supervisors and the Mineral Town Council. Del. Dickinson is the president of Dickinson Brothers Corp. and a cattle and grain farmer. Last year he received the Virginia Farm Bureau Award of the Year.
The Legislative Breakfast is open to the public, and is the cooperative effort of the Democratic committees of Culpeper, Greene, Madison, Orange and Rappahannock counties.
