day were Mrs. Jane Krebser of Huntly and Mrs. Maureen Kiser. Mrs. Pullen’s Sunday guests were Mr. and Mrs. Wingfield Sisk of Nokesville, Todd Williams and Jack Pullen of Sperryville.
Mrs. Lila Gordon of Paterson, N.J., visited her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Neufeld and Emily from Friday until Monday. On her return home Mrs. Gordon will leave for a vacation in London, England.
Mr. and Mrs. John Schultz returned home Monday night after spending 10 days with their son-inlaw and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Jakubowicz and children, Kristi, Matt and Andrea, in Dallas, Texas. During their visit Mr. and Mrs. Jakubowicz spent several days in New Orleans on a business trip.
The Washington Ladies Auxiliary Thrift Shop to the Fire Department will close their shop in town on Nov. 6 for the winter. We have a lot of good clothes and other items, so come in and buy your winter needs before we close for the season.
The Ladies Auxiliary will have a bake sale near the Trinity Church on Saturday, Oct. 17. We will also have cider and apples for sale.
