Edna Kay Eastham and Timothy David Falls were united in marriage on Saturday, July 16 at 2 p.m. at the Washington Baptist Church in Washington.
The bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. Clark and daughter of Mrs. Ann C. Simmons of Washington and John R. Eastham, Sr., of Front Royal.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James H. Falls of Woodvilje._
The afternoon ceremony-was performed by Rev. Larry Hovis, minister of the Washington Baptist Church.
The alter arrangements and floral designs were created by Betty Brown’s Florist of Culpeper.
Traditional wedding music was played by organist Mrs. Bonnie Williams of Flint Hill. Mrs. Kim Hovis was soloist and sang, The Wedding Song and The Lords’ Prayer.
Escorted by her grandfather, the bride chose a formal length wedding gown of white satin and overlayed with a satin finished lace, fitted bodice which featured a sweetheart neckline outlined with seed pearls and puffed sleeves. The extended detachable lace train was elegantly trimmed with satin bows and seed pearls. The bride’s headpiece was of lace and seed pearls.
She carried a bouquet of tiny white roses and carnations tipped with grey and pink pearl sprays.
Mrs. Lillian Crews of Washington made the bridal gown and attendants gowns.
Mrs. Sarah C. Brown, aunt of the bride, served as matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Miss Carol Atkins of Huntly, Miss Shelia Scott of Amissville and Mrs. Robin Eastham Of Rileysville. Miss Amanda Rae Brown was the junior bridesmaid. Miss Bobbie Jolene Brown was the flower girl.
