What they don’t know is that at least 50 percent of the experiments performed have absolutely nothing to do with biomedical research at all. They consist of such projects as chemical warfare testing, maternal deprivation, nuclear radiation exposure and a bewildering array of psychological experiments, just to name a few. A large proportion of the experiments which are biomedical in nature are duplicative, inapplicable, irrelevant to humans or so trivial as to be worthless.
