Jesus said in John 14:27, Peace I leave you, my peace I give you; not as the world gives give I you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Here Jesus, peace I leave with you, my peace I will give you. Jesus said the peace that he gives was not like the world gives. My dear friend you don’t have to settle for the cheap imitation peace the world promises, which doesn’t last. You can have the peace that Jesus gives, which is a lasting peace.
So many people try to fill the void in their life by the peace the world gives. The world can never fill that void of peace in your life. The reason is because the void in your life is a spiritual void. Worldy things cannot fill that spiritual need. Many of you are troubled in your heart, Jesus said you don’t have to be, because he will give you His peace. Many of you are afraid and live | in fear, but if you had the peace Jesus gives, you wouldn’t be 5 afraid. If you want this peace in your life, then invite Jesus to a come into your heart and trust in him with all your heart, and give your life to him, and he will fill you with His peace.
