Ten free
dogwoods
Ten free white flowering dogwood trees will be given to each person who joins The National Arbor Day Foundation during August, 1988. The free trees are part of the nonprofit Foundation’s efforts to encourage tree planting.
“The white flowering dogwoods will add year-round beauty to your home and neighborhood,” John Rosenow, the Foundation’s executive director, said. “Dogwoods have showy spring flowers, scarlet autumn foliage, and red berries which attract songbirds all winter.”
The trees will be shipped postpaid at the right time for planting between Oct. 15 and Dec. 10 with enclosed planting instructions. The six to twelve inch trees are guarnteed to grow or they will be replaced free of charge.
To become a member of the Foundation and to receive the free trees, send a $10 membership contribution to TEN DOGWOODS, National Arbor day Foundation, 100 Arbor Avenue, Nebraska City, NE 68410, by Aug. 31.

REACHING THE RIGHT BUYERS
It’s true that today is a great time to sell your home. Financing is affordable and buyers are out in droves. Unfortunately, many sellers mistakenly assume that the difficulty in finding the RIGHT buyer for your home has decreased as dramatically as the outer-space interest rates. Not so. If you try to sell your home yourself today, you still must face plenty of difficulties. One of them is attracting the right people.
Can yob weed out "Lookers”? It takes a seasoned professional eye to spot the truly interested and qualified parties. If you don’t have one, you’ll find yourself wasting a lot of time on people who are no more househunting than they are deep-sea fishing. They’re just passing the time because— unlike you—they don’t have anything better to do. Today’s seller’s market has brought them out in force. If you sell through a Realtor, you can be sure that the prospects he or she will bring will be really in the market for a home.
