Mr. Spelman has been storytelling on a professional level for the past seven years. Like most professionals in this art form, he travels a lot to create tha sense of community in schools, colleges, community centers, theaters, parks and musuems.

Locally, he has performed at the Kennedy Center, Wolf Trap, the Smithsonian, the National Archives, and the Washington Project for the Arts.

The Rappahannock A ssociation for the Arts and the Community is sponsoring his appearance here. Tickets for the 8 p.m. show are available at regular ticket outlets: The Village Cafe in Washington, Faith Mountain in Sperry'ville, Burke’s Store in Woodville, Picture This in Warrenton, the Culpeper Music Center and Royal Oak Bookshop in Front Royal.
